day9 - hammocking at campeggio della asinara

Allora this day started with my search for bread on the campsite. Apparently the shop was still closed at this time and I ended up at the check-ij counter to ask whether there is some bakery or shop around which is open. The guy denied and then looked behind and said “… look I have got some bread here for the restaurant - I give you two breads for free !” - awesome - I like this Italian style …. so my breakfeast was secured !!!

The rest of the day is quickly explained :-) I was hammocking around on the beautifully green campsite.

And this “activity” made me quite soon very hungry what ended up in a cooking session. Noodles con pommodori e Ricotta shall it be ….

After such a nice dinner I wen back to the van for a nap. Slept like a baby for 2 hours and later on downloaded a Birdnet app to identify the birds around. Lots of different ones and I got curious which ones that were. Thanx for Momo for the helpful recommendation for that app :-)

And afterwards I went per bike to the beach and strolled around

The rest of the day I was just chilling and reading a book and also did some rough planning for the next day. Next stop will be Stintino in the very northwest - base for doing a fully day excursion to Asinara isola where the white donkeys are living. The island actually was a prison since the late nineties where they put in special mafiosi into jail
