day6 - rainy & stormy

Uuuuh it started already in the morning with massive clouds and increasing wind. Weather forecast said it's gonna be a rainy and stormy day

And it didn't take look until the first rain drops came down. Together with massive thunders first from very far away but soon coming closer … and the rain became even stronger and there was no other choice than sitting in the van and watch nature's forces ;-)

The rain lasted for about 2 hours and was really intense … I had to realize that my shade / blind on the van was mounted not very intelligently as the water could not run down and accumulated on the blind…. haha … shit … Had to free the stuff during heavy rain and got quite wet during this action

But fortunately it stopped raining and the sun came out again

But …. temperature dropped and heavy wind started to blow from the sea … it got stronger and stronger and despite I thought that I mounted my blind in a stormproof fashion the wind turned out to be stronger today. So I had to roll-on the blind during heavy wind, which was quite a challenge … to not let it bit the car by the blind as I loosened the storm securement a … but I managed to get it done … and it was time for a selfie in captain iglo style :-)

And as the day continued with heavy wind and cool temperatures I found some old fish conserves in my food chamber … haha … that was a nice surprise and was immediately eaten

What a strange day … especially as I thought that I can escape the shitty weather from Vienna … but the crap just followed me … oh my gosh
